What the site does
The estimator uses registration, postcode, condition, estimated vehicle weight and a configurable scrap-metal indicator to produce a guide range. Where a DVLA Vehicle Enquiry key is configured, the backend can also use vehicle data returned by GOV.UK.
The range is not a guaranteed buyer offer. A confirmed price depends on the exact vehicle, missing parts, keys, access, recovery cost, location and buyer checks.

- Show a guide value before asking for full contact details.
- Avoid unsupported highest-price or guaranteed-price claims.
- Explain traceable payment, DVLA notification and Certificate of Destruction guidance.
- Route completed enquiries to the Scrap Car Valuation team for follow-up.
